The Trisakti School of Management Investment Gallery, better known as GalVesT, began its journey on October 21, 2015. This organization is engaged in the capital market and is directly under the auspices of the Management Department, collaborating closely with the Indonesia Stock Exchange and Mirae Asset Sekuritas Indonesia.
Since its inception, GalVesT has been led by a team of prominent professionals and academics. The Board of Trustees consists of Inarno Djayadi as President Director of the Indonesia Stock Exchange, Dr. H. Aulia Danibrata, S.E., M.M. as Chair of Trisakti School of Management, and Ryoo Sung Choon as Director of PT Mirae Asset Sekuritas Indonesia. The Advisory Board is strengthened by Dr. Rr. Niken Purbasari, S.E., M.Si., CHRA., as Chair of the Management Department, and Arton Briyan P, S.M., M.M., CMA, as Executive Advisor of the TSM Investment Gallery.
GalVesT’s development is accelerating with the opening of the Trisakti School of Management campus in Bekasi. On October 23, 2017, the TSM Bekasi Investment Gallery was officially established and began operating. Despite their different locations, GalVesT Jakarta and Bekasi continue to work together as one solid organization.
Throughout its journey, GalVesT has actively organized various educational and competitive activities. These include opening investment accounts for students, coaching clinics, company visits, comparative studies with other GI/GIS/KSPMs, the National Investment Fair, the Creative Opportunity in Management Investment Competition, and the Investor Mindset Seminar. GalVesT also actively participates in various competitions, both at the Greater Jakarta area and national levels.
GalVesT began to achieve remarkable success by becoming the champion of the Investment Gallery with the largest national transaction value in 2018 and 2019 consecutively. This achievement continued on February 15, 2023, when GalVesT won the 2022 IDX Investment Gallery award as the 2nd Most Active Champion in the Transaction Value category. This achievement further complements its previous awards in the Capital Market Analysis, Virtual Trading, Investory Competition, and other competitions.
GalVesT’s peak achievement occurred on March 7, 2024, when the organization once again won first place as the Most Active Investment Gallery in Indonesia in the category of largest national transaction value. This remarkable achievement was maintained for two consecutive years (2023-2024), with a total transaction value reaching a fantastic 1.2 trillion rupiah.
Now, after nine terms of management, GalVesT continues to grow rapidly. For the 2024/2025 term, the organization has 45 board members spread across campuses in Jakarta and Bekasi. GalVesT continues to innovate in capital market investment activities and is committed to continuing to achieve success in the future.
GalVesT’s journey from 2015 to 2024 reflects its dedication, innovation, and high enthusiasm in advancing students’ understanding and participation in the capital market. With strong support from Trisakti School of Management, mentors, and advisors, GalVesT has proven itself to be one of the leading Investment Galleries in Indonesia.
