Surakarta, October 2025 – Trisakti School of Management (TSM) has once again achieved victory through the success of three student teams who won the Accounting Competition for College Students (ACCESS) 2025, a national competition held by Sebelas Maret University (UNS) on October 26–27, 2025. This achievement reflects the competitiveness of TSM students in the fields of accounting and economics.
ACCESS 2025 serves as an academic forum that encourages accounting students to act as agents of change in sustainable economic development. Participants were challenged to integrate accounting concepts with broader economic and social issues, emphasizing that accounting has a strategic role that goes beyond technical aspects alone.
In this competition, the Senelice Team won first place, with members Hansen Untung (Alumnus of SMK Tarakanita), Evelyn Fernia Marjono (Alumnus of SMAK 6 Penabur), and Felice Priscilla (Alumnus of SMA Kasih Kemuliaan). This team demonstrated excellent analytical and presentation skills, particularly in the accounting quiz and case presentation sessions. The topics covered in the competition included Carbon Tax, Accounting on Climate Changes, and the Role of Auditors in ESG and Sustainability. According to team representatives, this competition provided new insights into the role of accounting in supporting sustainability in the future. Thorough preparation of materials and the ability to convey ideas clearly were important factors in their achievement.
High appreciation should also be given to Team Magnora, which won 2nd place. The team consisted of Vanesa Kiungista (Alumnus of SMK Pelita IV), Velica Kyla Jocellyn (Alumnus of SMK Strada Daan Mogot), and Karin (Alumnus of SMKN 1 Sungailiat). The presence of this team further strengthens TSM’s position as an institution that produces outstanding accounting talent at the national level.
Another proud achievement was presented by Team Triumph, who won 3rd place. This team, which showed diversity in their backgrounds, consisted of Jordi Arliandro (Alumnus of SMK Bakti Pangkalpinang), Mina Amelia (Alumnus of SMK Kristen Immanuel Pontianak), and Vania Sutanto (Alumnus of SMK Cinta Kasih Tzu Chi). A strong motivation to broaden their knowledge horizons and build professional networks served as their primary driving force. Through consistent preparation and strong synergy among members, the Triumph Team was able to deliver optimal performance throughout the competition. The Triumph Team emphasized that good teamwork, a willingness to keep learning, and self-confidence were the key factors in overcoming various challenges during the competition.
The success of these three teams reflects TSM’s commitment to supporting the development of students’ potential so that they can compete academically and professionally. This achievement is expected to motivate other TSM students to continue actively participating in various academic competitions in the future.
