Trisakti Foundation

“Trisakti Foundation was established by Brigjen dr. Sjarif Thajeb as Minister of PTIP and K. Sindhunata, SH from LPKB – Compartment of relations with people by E.Pondaag notarial No. 31 dated January 31, 1966.

For the first time, The Governing Board and the Daily Work Agency was appointed by the Minister of PTIP. The Board of Management in Trisakti Foundation was appointed by the Minister of PTIP No. 51, 1966, as the chairman of Drs. Ferry Sonneville.

Trisakti foundation has distinctive characteristics, different from the organizing foundation in other private colleges. Trisakti Foundation was established by Department of PTIP along with LKPB Compartment of relations with people and board of organizer and their daily work agency, and for the first time appointed by the Minister of PTIP.

Due to the historical linkages with government, the government (The Department of Education and Culture), has placed its representatives ex-officio on the management of Trisakti Foundation Since 1978. The first Government Representative appointed to sit in the management of Trisakti Foundation was Prof. Soekisno Hadikoemoro as the first Director of Private Higher Education, Directorate General of Higher Education.

At this time, the Chairperson of Trisakti Foundation is held by Major General (Purn) Dr. Bimo Prakoso, M.P.A., M.Sc. for the period 2013-2018.
