Another remarkable achievement has been accomplished by students of Trisakti School of Management (TSM). The team, consisting of Cathlin Apsari, Destiana Suharyanto, and Nopia Widiacandra, secured First Place at the Digivathon Business Case Competition 2025, organized by Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) on August 18, 2025.
With the theme “Business Beyond the Upside Down: Unravel Challenges, Ignite Innovation”, the competition challenged participants to develop innovative and sustainable digital business ideas. Representing the team, Cathlin shared that the competition provided them with valuable lessons in problem-solving, critical-thinking, decision-making, and collaborative skills such as communication, teamwork, and time management.
To tackle the challenge, the Videilin Consalting team divided their roles: Destiana acted as the Hustler, focusing on business strategy; Cathlin was the Hound, handling data analysis; and Nopia took the role of Hipster, focusing on design and creativity. Their biggest challenge was the strict five-minute pitching limit. To overcome this, they crafted a concise presentation, assigned roles clearly, and practiced intensively to ensure their ideas were delivered clearly and effectively.
The team’s victory was made possible by their strong teamwork, effective communication, and thorough preparation. They outperformed six other finalist teams, including Universitas Padjadjaran (Second Place) and Institut Teknologi Bandung (Third Place). This achievement is expected to inspire more TSM students to keep honing their creativity and bringing honor to the university in both national and international competitions.
