A brilliant achievement was once again made by students of Trisakti School of Management (TSM) in the Accounting and Capital Market Olympiad (OAPM) organized by Politeknik Negeri Jakarta. Impressively, two teams from TSM successfully brought home titles in the prestigious competition, which was attended by tens of renowned universities throughout Indonesia.
Team Trademark, consisting of Aldryan Leonardo, Chastine Claresta Hanoso, and Justin Angwyn, successfully won 1st Runner Up. Meanwhile, Team Acctrio, composed of Theodora Frizca Tantio, Jagrajdep Singh, and Velica Kyla, successfully secured the 2nd Runner Up position.
The participation of both teams in this competition was driven by a strong motivation to continue learning, hone their analytical skills, and enrich their experience at the national level. For Team Trademark, thorough preparation in the accounting laboratory and a solid strategy of dividing materials were the keys to their success. “From this competition, we learned to be confident in our own answers,” said one of the team members, highlighting the importance of self-confidence in facing competition.
Similarly, Team Acctrio also implemented an equally effective strategy. “The strategy we used was to divide roles according to expertise, routinely practice solving case studies, and improve our presentation and communication skills,” they explained. Solid teamwork and disciplined time management were the determining factors in their success in overcoming every challenge during the competition.
The Accounting and Capital Market Olympiad (OAPM) is part of the Accounting Fair 2025 series of events and was attended by approximately 40 teams from various renowned universities in Indonesia, including PKN STAN, UGM, UI, and UNPAD. The competition consisted of three challenging rounds, starting from an online preliminary round to an offline final round that featured a thrilling bidding system.
The success of Team Trademark and Team Acctrio is tangible proof that TSM students are capable of competing and excelling at the national level. Hopefully, this victory can inspire other students to continue achieving and bring honor to the name of Trisakti School of Management in various competitions.
