Trisakti School of Management (TSM) is proud to announce the successful implementation of the “Mangrove Ecosystem Rehabilitation” initiative in commemoration of World Mangroves Day 2025. The event, initiated by Sekolah Tinggi Manajemen Asuransi (STMA) Trisakti, was held on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at Kawasan Hutan Lindung Angke Kapuk Gianluigi & Chanel’s Residence, Muara Angke, Penjaringan, North Jakarta.
During this activity, a total of 2.500 mangrove seedlings were successfully planted in Kawasan Ekowisata Muara Angke, North Jakarta. This achievement reflects the strong commitment of both TSM and STMA Trisakti to supporting environmental sustainability and mitigating the impacts of global warming. Mangrove planting plays a crucial role in maintaining ecosystem balance and reducing the risks of natural disasters.
The event involved the active participation of lecturers, students, and staff, along with full support from various insurance companies. The success of this event also demonstrates the strong collaboration established between STMA Trisakti’s lecturers and students, as well as other higher education institutions and stakeholders from insurance companies. Furthermore, this initiative is a concrete implementation of POJK 51/POJK.03/2017, which pertains to the application of sustainable finance for financial service institutions.
This year’s activity is a continuation of STMA Trisakti’s consistent commitment to mangrove planting over the past five years, now entering its sixth year. The track record of previous activities includes the planting of thousands of seedlings in various locations, including Kawasan Elang Laut and Muara Angke, since 2016.
We extend our gratitude to all parties who contributed to the success of this event. This achievement is not only a source of pride for TSM and STMA Trisakti but also a concrete step in preserving the environment for our collective future.
