Bekasi, April 23, 2026 – In an effort to strengthen tax compliance within the academic environment, Trisakti School of Management (TSM) Bekasi hosted a Technical Guidance (Bimtek) session for the 2025 Fiscal Year Income Tax Annual Return (SPT) reporting. Held on Thursday (23/4), this event was an initiative by the Higher Education Service Office (LLDikti) Region III in collaboration with several private universities across the Jakarta area.
The primary agenda of this session focused on enhancing technical understanding of the Coretax application, the latest tax reporting system currently being implemented nationwide. Given that the system is considered more complex than its predecessor, the presence of expert speakers from the Tax Service Office (KPP) served as a vital resource for participants to consult on various technical challenges encountered during the transition period.
In his opening remarks, Tri Munanto, Head of General Affairs at LLDikti Region III, emphasized that tax reporting is a fundamental responsibility of lecturers to the government. He encouraged all educators to utilize this forum as an effective space for discussion to navigate the system changes in 2026. Additionally, the LLDikti Region III finance team expressed their readiness to provide initial assistance to lecturers.
Echoing these sentiments, Dr. Wibisono Soedono, Vice Chairperson for Student Affairs, Scholarships, and Alumni at TSM, expressed his appreciation for the trust placed in TSM by LLDikti Region III to host the event. He underscored the importance of collective awareness in fulfilling tax obligations for the nation’s interest. “Through the presence of these experts, I hope our lecturers will be assisted in understanding the importance of SPT reporting and gain clarity on the new system for the development of Indonesia,” he stated.
Through this technical guidance, it is expected that the technical capacity of faculty and staff in utilizing the Coretax application will significantly increase, thereby minimizing reporting obstacles. This event also symbolizes the strong synergy between the higher education sector and tax authorities in building a primary foundation for national development through tax compliance.
