BANDUNG 2025 – As the auditing profession is required to go beyond the mere function of “number crunching,” professional integrity and ethics have emerged as the new currency in the global financial industry. Trisakti School of Management (TSM) has once again proven its prowess through its outstanding achievements at the Padjadjaran Accounting Week 2025 event. Amidst fierce national competition, the TSM delegation successfully redefined the quality standards for future accountants through their decisive victory in the competition held from October 27–29, 2025.
This year’s competition presented complex intellectual challenges with the theme “Audit at The Crossroad: Finding Purpose and Reinventing Trust.” Participants were required to explore and understand the complex dialectic of how to maintain stakeholder trust amid disruptive industry dynamics. For TSM students, this was not just a routine procedure, but a stage to prove their moral commitment.
“This competition was very interesting because it was relevant to the issue of stakeholder trust. We learned that in auditing, procedures that comply with the code of ethics are crucial instruments that must be strictly maintained in order to maintain that trust,” said the team.
The victory was achieved by a team consisting of three Accounting students from the class of 2022: Hansen Untung (alumnus of SMK Tarakanita), Evelyn Fernia Marjono (alumna of SMAK 6 Penabur), and Felice Priscilla (alumna of SMA Kasih Kemuliaan). Their success was rooted in the “Ethical Defense” strategy, an approach that combines in-depth study of the TSM curriculum with thorough research on contemporary audit cases.
Preparation was conducted intensively, including debate simulations and presentations to ensure that every technical argument was not only data-accurate but also ethically sound. The synergy of the team members’ secondary education backgrounds served as an additional strength in analyzing multifaceted audit cases.
The real test came in the final round, where the team had to face a panel of expert judges and compete fiercely with finalists from top universities, including Petra Christian University Surabaya and PKN STAN. Their sharp analysis in answering each critical question successfully secured the TSM delegation the top podium as the 1st place winner.
However, their achievements did not stop there. TSM students were also awarded the prestigious title of “The Most Valuable Team,” a recognition of the team’s impact and performance quality, which was considered the most significant throughout the competition.
“We realize that being an accountant is not just a matter of intellectual intelligence, but also the ability to maintain integrity through honest procedures. We hope to become accountants who always maintain public trust,” said the team emotionally.
This brilliant achievement at Padjadjaran Accounting Week 2025 validates that Trisakti School of Management (TSM) remains a top-tier institution that consistently produces competitive accounting practitioners. This victory is expected to ignite the spirit of all students to continue bringing the good name of their alma mater to the highest level.
May this achievement be the first step towards further accomplishments that will take Trisakti School of Management to even greater heights.
