TSM students have once again achieved a proud accomplishment on the national stage. Two TSM teams made a brilliant showing in the 2025 Accounting Olympiad VIRAL (Veteran Accounting Festival) competition held by the Yogyakarta Veteran National Development University (UPNVYK).
Team Sar, consisting of Jason Harlee Jonathan (SMA Negeri 19 Jakarta), I Nyoman Wirananda Tejaguna (SMA Katolik Sang Timur), and Ni Kadek Devyananda Diah Putri (SMK Negeri 23 Jakarta), successfully won 1st place. Meanwhile, the Trademark Team, consisting of Aldryan Leonardo (Koba State High School 1), Chastine Claresta Hanoso (Methodist High School 2 Medan), and Justin Angwyn (Budi Agung High School), successfully won 3rd place in the same event.
VIRAL (Veteran Accounting Festival) is a program organized by the Accounting Student Association (HIMASI) in collaboration with the Accounting Study Club (ASC) and A+ UPN Veteran Yogyakarta, as part of the Accounting Development Project (ADP). This year, the competition carries the theme “Bridging Minds, Building Impact: The Ultimate Accounting Showdown for the Digital Age,” which emphasizes the importance of innovation and collaboration among accounting students in the digital age.
Both TSM teams went through various stages of rigorous selection, from the preliminary rounds to the finals, which tested their abilities in financial accounting, accounting information systems, auditing, and public sector accounting. With a well-thought-out strategy, a division of study focus according to their expertise, and open communication, they managed to perform excellently and consistently, ultimately winning the championship.
“Honest communication, solid cooperation, and a strong determination to win are the keys to our success,” said a representative of Team Sar. Meanwhile, Team Trademark added, “Trust among members and the right role-sharing strategy enable us to face every challenge to the fullest.”
This achievement is clear evidence of the fighting spirit of TSM students in honing their academic abilities and proving themselves at the national level. Hopefully, this victory will inspire other students to continue to excel and bring the good name of Trisakti School of Management to even greater heights.
