The spirit of excellence and academic competitiveness was once again demonstrated by students of Trisakti School of Management (TSM). On November 15, 2025, the Forte Capital team achieved a proud accomplishment in the prestigious Brawijaya Stock Market Competition (BSMC) 2025 held by Brawijaya University. Thanks to comprehensive equity research and data-driven investment arguments, Forte Capital successfully won the Best Paper award, reinforcing TSM’s reputation as a campus with competitive capital market analysis capabilities.
The Forte Capital team consists of Marchelo Evandria Maheswara, Sella Putri Widjaya, and Vashya Aprillia Setiawan. In the competition, themed “Navigating the Future: Empowering Investment Decisions through Data-Driven Investment in a Shifting World,” participants were challenged to conduct fundamental analysis of companies, review industry and macroeconomic conditions, and compile financial statement projections and stock valuations to produce credible investment recommendations.
In the research preparation process, Forte Capital strategically divided roles and worked intensively for one month. Challenges such as unifying analytical perspectives, time constraints, and data accuracy requirements were addressed through consistent communication and a commitment to maintaining quality. This collaboration and discipline were the main strengths that enabled the team to present their research results powerfully and convincingly to the judges.
“We believe that winning is not just about results, but also about the process of growth. We hope that this experience will motivate us to continue working and honing our capital market analysis skills,” said a representative of Forte Capital. This achievement feels even more meaningful because it was achieved amid fierce competition from 56 participating teams from various universities, including Malang State University as the first winner, Airlangga University as the second winner, North Sumatra University as the third winner, and Gadjah Mada University as the winner of Best Presentation.
The success of Forte Capital is clear evidence that TSM students are able to compete at the national level and continue to excel in the fields of finance and capital markets. Hopefully, this achievement will inspire other students to continue challenging themselves, developing their competencies, and bringing greater prestige to the university at the national and international levels.
