The commitment to quality and competitiveness in the field of accounting has once again been proven by students of Trisakti School of Management (TSM). In November 2025, Team Triumph successfully achieved an extraordinary achievement as the 1st winner in the prestigious national event, the Indonesia Accounting Challenge (IAC) 2025, organized by PKAKP Politeknik Keuangan Negara STAN. This success further strengthens TSM’s reputation as one of the best accounting schools in Indonesia.
The Triumph Team consisted of a collaboration of outstanding students: Mina Amelia (alumnus of SMK Kristen Immanuel Pontianak), Jordi Arliandro (alumnus of SMK Bakti Pangkalpinang), and Vania Sutanto (alumnus of SMK Cinta Kasih Tzu Chi). With the theme “Efficiency Unleashed: Green Accounting for a Limitless Tomorrow,” this competition tested students’ ability to integrate accounting concepts with sustainability issues. Team Triumph competed in the Accounting Excellence Olympiad (AEO) category, an arena that demands high precision, strong analytical logic, and comprehensive mastery of the material.
The journey to reach the highest podium was achieved through meticulous preparation. Amidst a busy academic schedule, the team intensively studied the material and devised effective case-solving strategies. The major challenge of aligning the thoughts of team members became their main strength, where mutual trust and solid communication were the keys to success in facing each stage of the competition.
“For us, this competition is not just about chasing victory, but a stage to test our competence and mentality. We learned that the strength of a team lies in the desire to continue to grow and move forward together,” said a representative of Team Triumph. This experience gave them a new perspective on the importance of collaboration in achieving maximum results.
This achievement is even more meaningful because Team Triumph managed to excel among approximately 120 teams from various renowned universities, including the University of Indonesia, which won 2nd place, and Prasetya Mulya University, which won 3rd place. This success is clear evidence of the quality of education at TSM, which is able to compete at the highest national level.
May the Triumph Team’s achievement inspire all TSM students to continue challenging themselves, honing their skills, and bringing the university’s name to even greater heights of achievement.
