Students of Trisakti School of Management (TSM) once again demonstrated outstanding achievements at the national level. Team Magnora, consisting of Vanesa Kiungista, Velica Kyla Jocellyn, and Karin, proudly secured First Place in the prestigious Gadjah Mada National Accounting Olympiad (GMAD NAO) 2025. This national accounting competition was organized by Universitas Gadjah Mada, starting from the preliminary round on June 28 and culminating in the grand final on September 13, 2025.
Carrying the theme “Sustainability Ignites Integrity: Shaping Tomorrow’s Finance with Ethical Innovation”, GMAD NAO 2025 challenged participants to showcase comprehensive accounting competencies, ranging from theoretical mastery and practical application to team collaboration. For Team Magnora, the competition was a valuable opportunity to sharpen their skills, broaden their academic insights, and enhance their expertise in Advanced Accounting. As the team representative noted, the competition pushed them to think critically under time pressure while further strengthening their expertise in Advanced Accounting.
The team’s success was the result of thorough preparation, including regular discussions, problem-solving exercises, and the distribution of roles based on individual strengths. Effective communication and composure in handling challenging questions were also crucial factors that strengthened the team’s performance throughout the competition. With these consistent efforts, they successfully outperformed 45 other teams from leading universities across Indonesia, including STAN, Universitas Padjadjaran, and Universitas Indonesia.
This remarkable achievement is a testament to the excellence of TSM students in national academic competitions. Beyond bringing pride to the institution, this success is expected to inspire other TSM students to continue striving for excellence, enhancing their competencies, and making meaningful contributions to both the academic and professional fields.
