News of victory came from Handy, Kezia, and Steven in the Kompetensi Akuntansi Airlangga 2025 (KAA 2025) which was held from August 30 to September 6. United in a team they named ActCountThink, the three accounting students from Trisakti School of Management (TSM) batch 2023 won 1st place.
For the team ActCountThink, the experience provided valuable lessons. They revealed owning optimism and confidence in facing competitions fosters a strong determination to win the championship. By strategically dividing the learning focus across different topics, ActCountThink successfully optimized their preparation, from reviewing previously covered material to studying relevant new topics. This preparation reflected the consistency in learning and solid teamwork they demonstrated.
Organized by the Himpunan Mahasiswa D3 Akuntansi Universitas Airlangga, Kompetensi Akuntansi Airlangga (KAA) is an annual national accounting competition attended by universities across Indonesia. Carrying the theme “Green Accounting Race: Measuring Environmental Impact in Numbers,” the KAA competition presents various challenges that are relevant to real practices in the world of work to form adaptive and excellent accountants in facing global dynamics.
Not only the success a matter of personal pride, but also a valuable moment for TSM as it continues its contribution to national education. The achievement reflects TSM’s commitment to continually broadening the horizons and honing the aptitude of its students, enabling them to grow into intelligent and proactive individuals, with optimal mentoring support. It is hoped that this spirit will inspire other students to share their victories in the competitions they pursue.
