Trisakti School of Management (TSM) students have once again demonstrated their outstanding achievements on the national stage. The Magnora team, consisting of Karin, Vanesa Kiungista, and Velica Kyla Jocellyn, won first place in the CPA Days 2025 Audit and Accounting Competition held by the Indonesian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (IAPI) on August 27-28, 2025.
CPA Days is an annual event organized by IAPI that brings together hundreds of accounting students from all over Indonesia. This year’s theme was “Guardians of Audit Quality in the Digital Era,” highlighting the important role of public accountants in maintaining audit quality amid the development of digital technology. Through a series of competitions in the form of case studies, individual and team problem-solving, and a quiz round, participants were tested on their technical mastery, critical analysis, and ability to work together.
Throughout the process, Team Magnora emphasized thorough preparation through reviewing lecture materials, intensive practice questions, and maintaining physical fitness. “Our strategy is simple: learn from each other, complement each other, and trust each other. That way, each member is able to understand audit materials, financial accounting, management, and professional standards comprehensively,” said Team Magnora.
This success feels even more meaningful because TSM, through the Magnora Team, was able to outperform 68 teams from various renowned universities, including Airlangga University (2nd place), Diponegoro University (3rd place), and Sebelas Maret University (1st & 2nd runners-up).
“We hope this victory will serve as a stepping stone for continued growth, opening new opportunities, and making a real contribution to the world of accounting,” they concluded.
This achievement is not only a source of personal pride, but also underscores the competitiveness of TSM students at the national level. Going forward, it is hoped that more TSM students will dare to compete, hone their potential, and take the name of their campus to a higher level.
