Trisakti School of Management (TSM) has once again made an achievement through the success of the SAR Team, which won 2nd Runner-up in the 2025 Parahyangan National Accounting Challenge (PNAC). This competition serves as a platform for accounting students to test their analytical skills, precision, and speed in solving various accounting problems. This achievement demonstrates the ability of TSM students to face the increasingly competitive challenges of the accounting profession.
The SAR Team consisted of Jason Harlee Jonathan (Alumnus of SMA Negeri 19 Jakarta), I Nyoman Wirananda Tejaguna (Alumnus of SMA Katolik Sang Timur), and Ni Kadek Devyananda Diah Putri (Alumna of SMK Negeri 23 Jakarta). The competition, organized by the Parahyangan Catholic University Accounting Study Program Student Association, was held in several stages, namely the preliminary round on November 15, 2025, and the semifinal and final rounds on November 22, 2025. In this event, the SAR Team competed with various teams from renowned universities such as Tarumanegara University, BINUS University, Atma Jaya Yogyakarta University, and Airlangga University.
PNAC 2025 carried the theme “Chase the Waves, Catch Your Dreams” with the sub-theme “Exploring the Vast Ocean of Accounting Knowledge.” The competition required participants to comprehensively understand accounting concepts and apply them in solving problems quickly and accurately. Each stage of the competition also tested the participants’ teamwork skills and agility in dealing with time pressure.
The SAR Team representative explained that the main strategy used was to divide the focus of the material and the roles of each member during the competition. “We divided the material to be studied and the roles during the competition so that each member could focus on their respective strengths. We faced the challenges during the competition by maintaining good communication and being patient with each other in working together,” said the SAR Team representative.
For team members, participating in this competition was a valuable learning experience in training team cohesion and quick thinking in competitive situations. They hope that this experience will motivate them to continue developing their skills and participate in other competitions in the future. This achievement reaffirms Trisakti School of Management’s commitment to producing competent, accomplished students who are ready to compete at the national level.
