Jakarta, August 11, 2026 – Trisakti School of Management (TSM) officially kicked off its New Student Campus Life Orientation (PK2MB) 2026. Carrying the motto “Grow with Discipline, Lead with Integrity, Impact to Humanity,” the first day of the event focused on introducing the campus environment while equipping new students with academic readiness.
From early morning, high enthusiasm radiated across the campus area as new students from the Bachelor of Accounting and Bachelor of Management study programs completed the welcoming ceremony and attendance check with their respective groups. The series of events began solemnly with the singing of the national anthem Indonesia Raya, the STIE Trisakti March, and a moment of silence.
In his opening remarks, the Chairman of TSM, Dr. H. Aulia Danibrata, S.E., M.M., expressed his pride in the new students joining a campus that has been accredited Unggul (Superior) for the next 5 years. He emphasized the importance of balancing academic achievements with personal development.
“While pursuing knowledge, I would like to remind you all to pay attention to your personal growth. Develop communication, collaboration, and leadership skills that are gained not only in the classroom, but also through student organizations. These qualities will serve as your foundation in your studies, career, and personal life in the future,” advised Dr. H. Aulia Danibrata.
High appreciation also came from the Head of the LLDIKTI Region III Jakarta Office, Dr. Henri Togar Hasiholan Tambunan, S.E., M.A., who shared a profound message regarding the paradigm shift in higher education learning. In his address, he emphasized that the professional world demands more than just numbers on paper; it requires mental readiness, empathy, and professional ethics.
“The professional world you will enter demands more than just numbers on a academic transcript. Technical expertise without empathy is a disaster for one’s reputation. Therefore, become scholars who are intellectually sharp, yet emotionally mature,” stated the Head of LLDIKTI Region III Jakarta.
He also reminded students to build intellectual discipline by making full use of campus facilities, remaining mindful of communication ethics and digital footprints, and upholding principles of fairness so that the economic knowledge they acquire benefits society. A strong emphasis was also placed on ensuring that the campus environment remains a safe space free from all forms of violence, bullying, and intolerance.
To energize the atmosphere, all participants joined an ice-breaking session before moving on to the main presentations. The new students received a comprehensive understanding of campus governance, including the use of academic systems such as Simatris Academic, Simatris Financial, and library literacy. Presentations continued with various career and personal development support units, including CDC, EDC, GalVesT, IMA, GRO, Assets, and TSM Mengajar.
Strategic partnerships were also highlighted through a presentation from Bank Mandiri. Representatives from Bank Mandiri explained that the Student Identity Cards (KTM) set for distribution starting this September will serve a dual purpose as both an ID card and a savings account. Exclusively for the class of 2026, Bank Mandiri is hosting the Livin’ by Mandiri Transaction Racing program running from October 1 to December 31, 2026, featuring various exciting prizes ranging from gadgets (Samsung Galaxy Tab, Huawei MatePad, JBL) to savings balances for students with the highest transaction volumes.
Documentation of Academic Guidance Held in Classrooms at PK2MB 2026, August 11, 2026
Before the lunch and prayer break (ISHOMA), group cohesion and communication were put to the test through an interactive Treasure Hunt game. Entering the afternoon, activities continued inside academic guidance classrooms. Here, the new students watched video introductions of TSM’s structural leaders, along with presentations on D’ETHIC, the Vision and Mission, National Insight (Wawasan Kebangsaan), and PPKPT. The first day officially concluded with an Academic Guidance session alongside Academic Advisors to directly discuss study strategies and directions for higher education.

The series of PK2MB Day 1 events wrapped up smoothly and orderly. This academic preparation serves as a solid foundational launchpad for the new students before they dive into the excitement of student organization (ORMAWA) showcases and performance stages on day two.
