Surakarta, June 2026 – Students from Trisakti School of Management (TSM) once again demonstrated their tradition of excellence and competitive spirit at the national level. At the prestigious national event, the 2026 National Tax Competition (TAXNATION 2026), organized by Sebelas Maret University on May 23 – June 20, 2026, the TSM student team named FAST & Furious successfully achieved an outstanding accomplishment by winning 1st Runner-Up. The team consisted of Sweet Angelica (alumna of SMKN 1 Kota Tangerang), Fedora Adgina (alumna of SMK Kristen Immanuel Pontianak), and Audrey Firshe Inkiriwan (alumna of SMAK Katolik Ricci 1).
With the theme “Horizon of Tax: Expanding the Tax Horizon as a Determinant of Future Prosperity,” this competition tested participants’ comprehensive skills in understanding the latest tax regulations and strategies. The long journey to the championship podium was certainly not easy. The FAST & Furious team had to navigate various rigorous competition stages, beginning with a preliminary round consisting of a multiple-choice exam that tested their in-depth understanding of taxation and accounting concepts. They then advanced to the semifinals, which required practical skills in filing Individual Annual Tax Returns, before finally making it to the intense live final quiz round held in Surakarta.
Their success in reaching the finals was achieved through thorough preparation and a structured tactical strategy. The FAST & Furious team consistently studied the material, clearly divided learning responsibilities among team members, and diligently practiced solving a wide variety of tax-related problems. Aware of the high stakes in the finals, they successfully overcame the challenge of mastering the dynamic scope of tax material by building solid teamwork on the field and maintaining full focus. The key factors behind their success before the panel of judges were harmonious teamwork, composure, and the prayers of everyone involved.
For the team, this national competition provided valuable lessons on the importance of perseverance and surrendering to God through prayer. This valuable experience not only deepened their academic understanding of taxation but also served as an important step in honing their competitive spirit and gaining new practical knowledge that will be useful for their future.

This achievement is all the more meaningful because they managed to excel and compete fiercely against 65 teams from various prestigious universities in Indonesia. Their success in ranking among the top five alongside major universities such as PKN STAN, the University of Indonesia, and Brawijaya University is clear evidence of the quality of TSM students, who are capable of competing at the highest national level.
