Semarang, May 2026 – A digital business idea that combines 3D technology with the online fashion shopping experience helped students from Trisakti School of Management win Second Runner-Up at the 2026 Business Plan Competition (BPC) hosted by Diponegoro University. The competition, which took place from April 26 to May 30, 2026, served as a platform for students from various universities to present innovative business ideas capable of addressing the challenges of the digital economy era.
The WOW (We Own Team) team representing TSM consists of Ragilia Rizki Andani (an alumna of SMAN 103 Jakarta), Daffa’ Fakhoor Rachman (an alumnus of SMAN 15 Tangerang), and Najwa Aulia Achmad (an alumna of SMAN 96 Jakarta). In the competition, they competed against approximately 30 teams from various renowned universities, such as Diponegoro University, Airlangga University, Sebelas Maret University, Brawijaya University, Telkom University, and a number of other institutions of higher education.
The 2026 Business Plan Competition is centered on the theme “Digital Economy.” In line with this theme, Team WOW presented their business innovation, Fitmatch Technology—a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform designed to help consumers choose the right size and style of clothing when shopping online. This innovation features 3D visualization capabilities that allow users to get a more accurate picture of the product, thereby supporting the decision-making process when shopping for fashion through e-commerce platforms or digital apps.
During the preparation process, the team began by brainstorming to identify business ideas relevant to the competition’s theme. After finalizing the concept, each member took on their respective roles in drafting the business plan, conducting market research, and gradually refining the proposal to ensure that every aspect of the proposed business demonstrated innovation and strong implementation potential.
The team’s main strategy was to maintain consistency throughout the project and foster close coordination among members. Open communication ensured that every member shared a common understanding of the business concept being developed. The biggest challenge they faced was the competition schedule, which coincided with midterm exams. However, through good time management, a clear division of tasks, and regular progress updates, the team was able to complete each stage of the competition successfully.
“We believe one of the factors that helped our team achieve this result was a business idea that caught the judges’ attention. We also made a point of being consistent throughout the development process so that any shortcomings could be promptly evaluated and corrected before the submission deadline,” said a representative of Team WOW.
This success is not only an achievement for the WOW Team, but also reflects the spirit of innovation that Trisakti School of Management students continue to cultivate. It is hoped that this accomplishment will inspire other students to dare to turn their creative ideas into business solutions that make a real impact on society.
