Jakarta, May 27, 2026 – The occasion of Eid al-Adha 1447 AH serves as a source of blessings, embodying the values of sacrifice and sincerity in sharing with others. In order to spread joy while promoting a spirit of social care and strengthening bonds of friendship, Trisakti School of Management held a sacrificial animal slaughter and distribution event on Wednesday (5/27). This annual collaborative effort was held simultaneously at two locations the TSM Jakarta Campus and the TSM Bekasi Campus with the full participation of the entire academic community, including management, faculty, staff, and students.

The event began with a warm welcome from the Dean of Trisakti School of Management, Dr. H. Aulia Danibrata, S.E., M.M., at the Jakarta Campus. On this bright morning, he expressed his gratitude and joy at being able to gather together at TSM. “As is tradition, today we will perform the ritual slaughter of animals, the meat of which will be distributed to employees (Jakarta Campus) and to the surrounding community (Bekasi Campus). I would also like to thank the committee members who have worked hard to secure the animals and all those who have supported the smooth running of this event,” said Dr. H. Aulia Danibrata, Chair of TSM.

To mark the start of the event, Dr. H. Aulia Danibrata, S.E., M.M., symbolically handed over the animal to the Head of the Human Resources Department, Ms. Setia Tjahyanti, S.E., M.M., CHRA. On this occasion, Ms. Setia expressed her appreciation and hoped, “May this animal bring widespread benefits and blessings to the entire campus community.” After the handover ceremony concluded, the agenda proceeded directly to the main event on the field.

Operations on-site ran smoothly thanks to a structured division of tasks. At the TSM Jakarta Campus, the entire process was directly supervised by Mr. Aulia Ibu Setia, as well as Mr. Yulius Kurnia Susanto, S.E., M.Si., CIQnR., serving as Second Vice Chair. Meanwhile, activities at the TSM Bekasi Campus were coordinated by Vice Chair III, Dr. Wibisono Soediono, S.E., M.B.A., CMA., and fully supported by 28 members of the Islamic Spirituality Activity Unit (UKKI) and 10 student participants who directly assisted with the process from start to finish.

While addressing the organizing committee and UKKI students at the Bekasi Campus, Mr. Wibisono emphasized that participation in this event is not merely a symbolic formality, but must be carried out with sincerity and genuine dedication from the heart.

Furthermore, Mr. Wibi also encouraged everyone present to reflect on the true meaning of the Qurbani ritual as a model and guide for life. Drawing inspiration from the exemplary story of Prophet Ishmael (peace be upon him), who was so obedient to the commands of Allah (SWT), he urged that this occasion be used as an opportunity to “sacrifice” some of the ego and arrogance that still cling to human nature. At the end of his address, he did not forget to remind the on-site committee members to always maintain the cleanliness of the slaughtering area by immediately washing their hands and cleaning the surrounding environment after the slaughtering process was completed.

To ensure the accuracy of the meaning and purpose, the implementation and distribution mechanisms were specifically allocated to both locations. This year’s Eid Adha sacrifice activities were entirely centralized at the Bekasi Campus, where the sacrificial animals were sourced from contributions by the institution and individual donors, ranging from UKKI leadership, faculty, staff, to alumni. All proceeds from the slaughter in Bekasi are dedicated to external charitable efforts and distributed directly to the community living around the campus through a coupon system to ensure everyone’s comfort. Meanwhile, the event at the Grogol Campus is intended as a form of welfare and appreciation from the institution for all internal staff and campus supporters, with logistics prepared and distributed evenly, including deliveries to employees at the Bekasi Campus and the organizing committee members on duty.

Through this program, which is steeped in the spirit of mutual cooperation, TSM hopes to continue fostering a culture of excellence that focuses not only on academic quality but also on shaping the character of the academic community one marked by deep empathy, strong solidarity, and genuine care for others.
