Jakarta, December 21, 2025 – The POPKI Cibubur Sports Arena (GOR) bore silent witness to the outstanding performance displayed by the proud athletic ambassadors of Trisakti School of Management (TSM). In the prestigious KONI Cup Series 6 event, held as part of the 2025 Indonesia Taekwondo Championship from December 18–21, our students’ dedication and discipline translated into brilliant achievements: 5 gold medals and 2 silver medals were successfully brought home as tangible proof of the excellence of athlete development within the university environment.

This national championship, classified as a Grade B National event, is organized by the Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) Headquarters as a strategic platform for the development, evaluation, and monitoring of promising young athletes across the country. With approximately 3,000 athletes from 8 provinces participating, this competition aims to improve technical skills and competitive mindset, as well as strengthen the competitiveness of Indonesian athletes at both the national and international levels. The large scale of participation makes this event one of the most competitive platforms and a vital tool for identifying future top-tier talent.

The dominance of the TSM student contingent was truly impressive, particularly in the Kyorugi (Sparring) category. The top five podium spots were secured by top talents from various academic programs: Joshua Omega Miracle (Management ’24), M. Harun Ramadhan Ananda Lauis (Management ’24), Aleesa Yuma Andani (Management 2024), Putri Hayyuna (Accounting 2021), and Respati Rangga Dinata (Management 2024). The success in winning five gold medals in this category not only reflects exceptional individual technical skills but also composure in making professional decisions under the intense pressure of competition.

Complementing this collection of victories, the team’s resilience was further underscored by the two silver medals won by Romadlon Miftahul Khoir (Accounting 2024) in the Kyorugi class, as well as Putri Hayyuna (Accounting 2021), who once again achieved distinction in the Poomsae (Art) category. Putri’s success in winning medals in two different disciplines was a highlight in itself, demonstrating her versatility and extraordinary capabilities as a well-rounded athlete.

This achievement is a testament to the institution’s strong fighting spirit and commitment to supporting the development of student talent beyond the academic realm. This success at the national level proves that TSM students are not only equipped with intellectual prowess but also possess a resilient character, discipline, and exceptional competitiveness. This accomplishment also makes a tangible contribution to the development of competitive sports in Indonesia through the active role of the higher education sector.

Congratulations on the extraordinary efforts of the athletes who have brought honor to their alma mater. May this achievement inspire the entire academic community to continue innovating, pushing boundaries, and moving toward a future filled with victories.
